DSC Test Block Metric Aluminum
AWS type DSC Block Distance, sensitivity,
refracted angle and beam index calibration for angle beam transducers, per AWS
and ASHTO requirements.
Application: Calibration of transverse and longitudinal wave distance, setting
determination of the sound beam point of incidence, angle of propagation and sensitivity.
AWS-type block used for shear wave distance and
sensitivity calibration.
Geometry: 25mm thick, 100mm long with 25mm and 75mm radius. Contains 9.5mm deep x
0.79mm radius notch and a 3.175mm diameter side drilled hole for 45, 60
and 70 degree probes.
Material: Aluminum.
